Child Protection Course

We will be holding a Child Protection Course for our Church this coming Sunday the 27th of July, 2.00-4.00pm. 
A light lunch will be served beforehand.

This course is mandatory for all ministry workers and anyone else who may at some point be involved in any sort of ministry to someone under 16 years of age.

This course only runs for 2 hours and everyone is stongly urged to attend!

Shane Edwards is doing a fantastic job as an announcer on Rhema Fm 94.9 Gosford.

You can catch him on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons 4.30-7.30pm.

He takes requests on 4325 1000

Ireland Mission Fundraiser

Thursday, July 17 at 6:00pm

Jordana will be heading off to Ireland soon to participate in an outreach program for children over there and our church is putting on a special dinner to help provide funds for the mission.

The night will include: dinner, music, trivia and an auction.

Cost is $15 per person, or $40 per family. (Suggested donation.)

Please let Jordana know if you are planning to come, or sign up in the hall.


KidsGames - 7th to the 11th of July

Several of our local churches are getting together to run KidsGames these holidays.  The program will run daily from 9.00am - 1.00pm, from Monday the 7th to Friday the 11th of July, at Wyoming Public School.  All children in years 1 to 6 at school are welcome.

This is a great way to become involved in our local community - join in!

Intentional Interim Ministry

Allan and Julie Blyth will be starting an Intentional Interim Ministry at our church on the 3rd of February.  They will be ministering with us for approximately 2 years.  The IIM is mainly about transitions and health. 

The Blyths will be taking the congregation through five developmental tasks:

  • Acknowledging the history of the church
  • Examining leadership and decision making
  • Strengthening relationships to the wider church
  • Clarifying the congregation’s identity
  • Developing a committment to new pastoral leadership and the future

A transition team will be chosen by the church and will lead the church through the five developmental tasks.

Allan and Julie Blyth will:

  • Coach the transition team
  • Pastor the church
  • Leave at the end of the process
